1. Grandma is feeling well and is still talking to us about the prospect of the radiation for the breast cancer...which is waaay better then ignoring the whole thing and not talking about it at all...i.e. I'm hopeful on this one.
2. Dad has a car now...which is a mixed blessing as in it needs a new windshield, 'cause the current one has a crack the size of the San Andras in it. Once my mechanic cousin gets back from his vacation, he's agreed to help Dad replace it. This will all promote Pop finding a job...all to the good. As for the band issue...Dad told me a funny story about how the band imploded the night they were gonna fire him...so HA!!
3. Work still have the crazy floating around the office and it's gonna be ending in another month or two...I think it's spring fever hitting the sales reps really hard. But I still have to pull some overtime this Sunday to get all the shit needed done. meh.
Now here's the new crap that's' cropped up to worry the hell outta me.
There was a death in Jeremy's extended family. We were at the funeral yesterday....it was a lovely service but it's still a sad and very emotional time for all involved. So my shoulder and his got a little soggy from Mom's and Sister's and Aunt's but we managed to get through it. A good deal of weight has been lifted now too. This was dragging on for near two weeks and had everyone frayed and stressed to the breaking point. Not saying it's better now that the death happened, but now the family can begin to move on and cope with the aftermath.
Also for the last two weeks my fur-balls have been worrying the shit outta me. Found blood in the litter box and promptly freaked out. Took Victoria to the vet, she was the most likely candidate for something wrong in the bladder/kidney department. We put her on antibiotics and waited for the blood work other tests to come back...and turns out she doesn't have a UTI (urinary track infection), but her blood work shows she does have an infection...somewhere. So she's still finishing up her drugs and in the meantime I'm keeping a extra close watch on Vince to see if he shows any signs of a UTI...but all I've noticed is that he seems partially blocked, with a small decrease in appetite, but no vomiting or dramatic weight loss...all reasons why I didn't rush him in to have whatever it was removed....but that seems that too has passed. Thank you god!
So things are getting more stable and life seems to be looking up...I sure fucking hope so.
